Flossie says
Retro to the bone — claw-foot tub, VHS tapes and board games on the shelves. Roxy padded the coastal forest path each morning toward the Discovery Trail and a fog-soft beach.

Good to know
- The Sou’wester is a Seaview, WA institution: historic lodge with vintage Airstreams and travel trailers scattered through a coastal forest, plus stand-alone cabins. Garden spa, Finnish sauna, honor-system store.
- The Beach Cabin (#10) is the only stand-alone cabin on the property — bright, west-facing, claw-foot tub.
- Discovery Trail (paved path from Cape Disappointment to Long Beach) runs right through Seaview.
- Pets allowed in trailers, cabins, and RV/campsites only — not in the historic lodge or lodge suites.
- Cats welcome too, not just dogs.
- Property asks guests to bring blankets to cover bedding and furniture.
- Washington State law requires leash; the Sou’wester defers to guest responsibility otherwise.
